Dear friends,

I went to Jaipur on 12th May to attend the reception of my friend's son.On 13th May, in the evening, when the  deadly bomb blasts occurred , I  was in Jaipur itself. I had gone  to visit sister Rupali's [about whom i mentioned in one of my blogs]  family in Brahmpuri, near Chhoti Chopar , the venue of one of the bomb blasts. In fact I puchased  some fruit from the chowk about half an hour earlier and went to visit Rupali's family. Around 8 o'clock, i received mobile message from my friend Mahavir about the blasts  and that time we were returning towards Jorawar gate .

It is a heart rending tragedy . May God grant peace to the departed souls and courage to the family members to bear this unbearable loss.  As the police had closed all routes, i couldnot reach Officers rest house , near Railway Station, where i was staying, and stayed with my  friend  in Rashtriya Aayurved Sansthan that night. I returned to Delhi yesterday.

May peace prevail in the world........ranjit
